Honestly, I have nothing to say. I don’t know what to talk about, what to share, no tips. I’m at a loss.
Why?
Because we are Covid–Cooped-Up-to-Here.
Everywhere you look, read, and watch are tips on how to survive quarantine. What you can do to stay healthy, be active. How you can entertain your kids 24/7. How to stay on a schedule. Advice is thrown at us from all directions. You don’t need mine. And honestly, I don’t have anything different to tell you from what everyone else is saying.
I do want to say, however, that I’m kind of getting used to this. I think the word of the day now is “Adapt.” I really haven’t heard any complaints about our new life other than grocery store adventures.
I am scared to death of getting the virus. I cry every time I watch the news, and am horrified by what is happening in our country. Yet, I am able to center, relax, and focus on my own thriving.
I think everyone is doing their best to not only survive, but to thrive. Some have taken up baking, adopted a puppy, started bike riding, reading that book that’s been sitting on the bedside table for a few years. There are a lot of things to learn from this and we are seeing people adapt very quickly to a different lifestyle.
I am also seeing so many positive things come out of this. Creativity, a sense of humanity. The need to connect, and so, reaching out to people you haven’t spoken to in a while. And, lastly, but not least, a sparkling clean house.
So, when this is over, let’s try to keep up what we learned while cooped up.
