Moving

Moving and uprooting is one of the major stressors in life. You’re forced to take on roles that might not come naturally to you—planner, decision maker, organizer, and last, but definitely not least, the one who is maintaining control over falling apart. How do you keep it all together?

Daily life, and in some cases an entire lifetime, is completely uprooted. As we get older we rely on our Ways—our hardwired habits. Our ways make us feel secure and comfortable. And so now, this major transition has taken over our souls. We may become depressed, leaving us to wonder Who am I now? This is completely normal, and, temporary. Soon you’ll be discovering your new ways.

Remember frequently that this is temporary, and will eventually settle into something wonderful. This applies to almost every stressful situation you encounter.
